As part of the first task, a report will be prepared that contains indications and recommendations regarding the development and implementation of the university educational offer in various cultural contexts suitable for the project participants.
The project is a response to the following identified needs:
1. lack of truly interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary courses in the educational offer of the universities involved in the project;
2. the need for greater internationalisation of education;
3. insufficient consideration of the rules of universal design in the process of course planning.
The target group are the universities participating in the project, which, on the basis of this report, can introduce the University Educational Offer as a permanent elective element of curricula realised by the students studying at the universities forming the consortium.
However, the possibility of using the report is much broader, because it will serve as a model for other alliances of higher education institutions, which consider the introduction of a joint offer. The innovation of the proposed approach at the content-related level is based on a deep interdisciplinary approach to education.
Interdisciplinarity, well present in scientific research, has not been transferred into education to a sufficient degree, and universities have not offered systemic solutions enabling students to participate in courses prepared and co-conducted by specialists in various disciplines.
The tasks to achieve the result include:
TASK 1. Gathering data about universities’ joint educational offers proposed at various Universities in the countries participating in the project.
TASK 2. Developing the model of university educational offer as a common element in the offer of all universities participating in the project.
TASK 3. Evaluation of the OOD model developed during the realisation of Task 2 based on the gathered comments of the institutions participating in the project.
TASK 4. The final compilation of the conclusions and their presentation in the form of an aggregate report that includes the University Educational Offer
